We are thrilled to present Matthew Joiner – Enterprise Sales director at ArrowStream. Matthew has twelve years of experience working in sales and account management and joined the ArrowStream team last year.

What is your team like?

My team is full of gritty hustlers who know this business inside and out. I’m fortunate to be surrounded by veterans like Jeff Dorr, Bill Becker, and Michael Artman. They are always 3-5 steps ahead and they’ve spent the past 7 years exploring every angle of the restaurant supply chain. They are always ready to jump in and lend a helping hand, and it’s very impactful on tangible results.

Let’s be honest, sales can be a grind-it-out type of business. I’m fortunate to have a ton of moral support that stands with me and keeps my engines going. Folks like Anthony Rose, Annie Rodrigue, Ryan Marshall, and Marc Larson have all been through it and understand what it takes to win. I’ve never hesitated to pick up the phone and talk through any situation with this team. I’m proud to help fight the adversity our industry is going through alongside these individuals.

Marketing has truly dug in deep and brought new ideas to our organization. Rick Koletavitoglu and Raj Badarinath have been examples of thinking differently. The world is full of big idea people but these two have come in and executed at a high level. Working with a group like this makes my life so much easier.

What have been your biggest accomplishments on our team?

Learning entirely new processes, growing my knowledge of restaurant supply chain, and signing my first new client who is one of the top ten fastest-growing restaurant brands in the US. I couldn’t have achieved any of this without the support of my team, and I’m grateful to be surrounded by the best.

What’s the most unique part about working here?

I’ve worked for several restaurant software companies over the past 8 years, and the most unique part about ArrowStream is the tenure of our veterans. Typically, when a business has been through many changes, you wouldn’t expect to have so many of the people who originally made it successful still so motivated and determined to see it through each new stage of the evolution.

It just goes to show how the people here truly stand behind the mission and the purpose of ArrowStream. They wake up and live restaurant supply chain tech, and they want to deliver the best practices in an actionable way to our entire industry. For them, it’s not about fancy slogans or putting lipstick on a pig. It’s about doing the hard work that delivers meaningful results to our customers and that’s apparent in our 100% retention rates.

How have you grown professionally while on our team?

Over the past year, Jeff, Michael, and Bill have made sure I’m constantly developing and staying on top of my game. They never let me slip and they make sure I’m always improving. Their eye for detail is unmatched and they’ve built processes that are tested and proven.

Then you add Raj Badarinath to the mix, and it’s all about bringing a fresh eye to everything I’ve been improving on. His creativity, courage, and execution are rubbing off on all of us. I see a future where we all continue to grow and get better to become the best version of ourselves.

What do you like most about ArrowStream?

I love working with restaurateurs, enterprise brands, and supply chain folks. It never gets old and seeing our platform deliver meaningful results makes this role so much easier. I’ve never had to dread getting out of bed, because I get to do what I love most, work with restaurants to create more memorable customer experiences that in turn help companies grow.
